About Squarespace websites and shops

  • We design custom Squarespace websites and shops for small businesses and independent projects – with a focus on hospitality and vacation rentals, restaurants and bars, coaches, yoga and wellness, real estate and property, and local businesses and creatives.

  • Yes. We specialise in Squarespace website design. That lets us stay close to one platform and use it well, instead of spreading our attention across many different systems.

  • Yes. If your current Squarespace website has a solid base, we can restructure, redesign and refresh it instead of starting from zero. If it is easier and faster to rebuild, we will say so.

  • Yes. We design and set up Squarespace shops for products, vouchers and services. We structure your store, create custom product layouts and help you set up basic payments, shipping and tax. After launch, you can manage products and orders yourself.

  • In many cases, yes. We regularly connect restaurant reservation tools, simple booking engines, enquiry forms, schedules and calendars alongside Squarespace. We will look at what you already use and what makes sense to keep.

  • For clear, focused offers and early stages, a one-page website can be exactly what you need. If you have multiple services, locations or audiences, we usually recommend an Essential or Pro website instead, so you do not have to squeeze everything onto one page.

  • Yes. That is one of the main reasons we work with Squarespace. We include a live handover and basic training in every project, so you feel confident making normal day to day updates.

About branding and naming

  • No, you do not need a full identity in place. We can take it #stepbystep together. What you do need is a starting point – that can be an idea or a dream, an existing brand we can use or refine, or a new brand we create together with our Brand Essentials package.

We will not build a full new site around a logo you do not like, because your website should feel aligned with where your brand is going, not where it used to be.

  • We focus on the parts you actually use: logo versions, colours, typography and a simple guide that shows how everything comes together on your website, social channels and a few key print pieces.

  • Yes. Our Naming and Brand Story Intensive is a focused process to define your name, positioning and brand story. It can be a stand alone service or part of a website and branding package.

  • Yes. If your branding still feels right, we are happy to use it as the base for your new Squarespace website and make sure everything is aligned and consistent.

About working with or never

  • We are a boutique web and branding studio based in Zurich, with roots in the Alps and clients across different countries. Most projects run fully online.

  • Yes. We work with clients in different time zones and are used to running projects through video calls, shared documents and clear written communication.

  • Most of the work happens through email and shared documents, with a few video calls at key points. We keep communication focused and structured, so you always know what is next and what we need from you.

  • You will need to answer questions, review drafts and provide content or at least core information. We try to make this simple and manageable – no endless homework, just the pieces we truly need.

  • That is fine. The first step is about getting to know each other. If we feel your project needs something different, we will say so and, where possible, share a suggestion for another path.

About pricing, timelines and practicalities

  • It depends on the combination of branding, website, shop and modules you need. After an initial conversation, we send a clear proposal with scope, price and payment structure, so you can decide without guessing.

  • Yes. Many clients start with a one-page website or an Essential website and add more pages, modules or a shop later, when the business is ready for it.

  • Most Squarespace websites take between three and six weeks, depending on the package you choose, how ready your content is and how many modules we add. For more complex Pro websites, shops and combined website and branding packages, we define a custom timeline with you before we begin.

  • Our calendar changes throughout the year. If you have a fixed date in mind – for example a season start, launch or event – it is best to get in touch a few months ahead so we can plan together.

  • We need clarity on what you offer, your goals for the project and your rough timing. If you already have text, images or branding, we will ask for those too. If not, we can discuss how to create what is missing.

  • We can help refine your existing text and structure it for the website. For full copywriting, we either scope this into the project or work together with trusted partners.

About industries and “are we a fit?”

  • We focus on hospitality and vacation rentals, restaurants and bars, coaches, yoga and wellness, real estate and property, and local businesses and creatives. Over time, we have learned what each of these needs from a website.

  • Sometimes, yes – as long as the project fits our skills, capacity and interest. If you feel aligned with our work but are in a different field, you are welcome to get in touch and we can see if it makes sense.

  • Probably not. We are best for small businesses, independent projects and lean teams that want a clear, honest online presence without a heavy corporate structure.

  • If you know you want to move forward, the best place to start is our contact and project page. If you are still exploring, you can look at our services, industries and a few selected projects first.
