Vögelino brings a taste of Italian everyday life to Bolzano’s Piazza Walther. We created a brand that captures its sunny spirit, warm hospitality and easy-going charm.
We also developed the identity for Vögelati, its ice cream shop extension next door.

We shaped the brand around the simple pleasure of meeting, sharing and enjoying life on the piazza. The name Vögelino playfully combines a German root with an Italian ending, reflecting its South Tyrolean home. A little bird became its signature companion.
We brought the brand to the table through menus, illustrated placemats and coasters. Each piece adds something to the experience, from discovering the menu to taking home a favourite cocktail recipe. Branded ice cream cups and menus carry the same attention to detail into Vögelati.
The website brings the atmosphere of the bar online through clear layouts, custom illustrations and conversational copy. It introduces Vögelino before a visit and gives guests at the table easy access to the digital menu in three languages.
The brand’s playful spirit continues next door at Vögelati. For the ice cream shop, we introduced diagonal stripes, warm colours and the familiar little bird, creating a distinct identity within the same family. Applied across cups and menus, the design adds a little joy to every scoop.
